There are few nicer ways to view Britain’s green and pleasant land than perched on the saddle of a Britannia. Available in hues of Red, White or Blue, its bold and beautiful colours pay homage to Pashley’s British manufacturing heritage.
The Britannia is the perfect companion to explore the countryside on weekend adventures or even just nip around town, filling its classic wicker basket with your shopping as you go.
In true British fashion, the Britannia is suited to all sorts of weather, with the chainguard and mudguards keeping you clean and looking your best, whilst the reliable hub brakes and gears are effective no matter what the conditions. Based upon the model we have produced from our very earliest days in the 1920s, the curved frame is coupled with a classic sweeping handlebar to give you an elegant upright seated position that lets you glide along through the countryside in comfort. This comfort is enhanced by the inclusion of a hand-made Brooks B66S saddle - made only thirty miles from our factory here in Stratford-upon-Avon - which gradually shapes to your form to become a truly customised and supportive seat. A front dynamo headlamp completes this luxurious lineup, never needing batteries to keep you safe at night.
All this is brought together with a long-earned experience and British craftsmanship, making the Britannia a gorgeous and reliable bicycle equipped to be a lifelong companion.

Sizing
The Britannia comes in three frame sizes shown below, followed by their corresponding inside leg length range.
Frame Size Inside Leg Length
17.5" 27.5-31.5"
20" 30-34"
22" 33-37"
The frame size is the distance between the centrepoint of the cycle's bottom bracket (where the pedal arms extend from) and the top of the frame's seat tube (where the seatpost enters the frame).
Leg length should be measured from the sole of your foot to the inner top of your thigh (in inches) - please note that this is a different measurement to your trouser inside leg length. If your inside leg length falls in-between two frame sizes and you are unsure which size is best for you, please visit the sizing page for further guidance.

The Britannia has been designed and hand-built at the factory in Stratford-upon-Avon. From the brazing of the frame, through to the final addition of its charming ding-dong bell, you can be assured the team have taken great care to produce a beautifully-built British bicycle.
